Several restaurant chains and local establishments are offering promotions where children can eat for free or at a discount with the purchase of an adult entrée.

In Long Island, Miller’s Ale House offers free kids' meals on Tuesdays for children 12 and under with a $10 adult food purchase. Moe’s Southwest Grill provides free kids' meals on Sundays, and Pietro’s of East Meadow hosts a Wednesday promotion including activities like coloring and kits. Arooga’s in Patchogue offers free meals on Mondays, while participating Outback Steakhouse locations provide a free ‘Joey Meal’ on Mondays with a full-price adult entrée.

In Omaha, Culver’s provides a free scoop of frozen custard with a kids' meal purchase. Holiday Inn locations with on-site restaurants also offer free meals for children 12 and younger. Specific weekly deals in Omaha include Monday promotions at Basil’s Italian and Ice Cream, Buffalo Wings & Rings, and Fernando’s.
