Partizan basketball begins new season preparations

Partizan basketball has commenced preparations for the new season under coach Joan Penarroja. Team captain Vanja Marinković, currently recovering from an Achilles tendon injury, has returned to training and expects a full recovery in approximately two and a half months. Marinković expressed hope for improved discipline and commitment within the squad.

The roster has undergone significant changes, with eight new players joining the team. While many players have appeared at the first training sessions, Jabari Parker is currently training individually as he is not in Penarroja's immediate plans, despite his guaranteed two-year contract.

In terms of recruitment, the club is monitoring the market, specifically showing interest in Canadian player Dalan Banton, who has NBA experience. Banton is also being tracked by Olympiacos and Valencia. Additionally, Oliver Stević has officially joined the coaching staff as an assistant to Penarroja.
