Various technology and industrial stocks face volatility

Several technology and industrial companies experienced significant stock price fluctuations and analyst rating shifts.

Applied Digital Corporation reported a 322% year-over-year revenue increase for its fiscal first quarter of 2027, reaching approximately $341.9 million. Despite this growth and $36 billion in contracted revenue, the company posted a GAAP net loss of roughly $237.1 million, leading to investor concerns regarding debt and financing for its planned 600-megawatt capacity expansion.

SanDisk Corporation saw its stock gap down recently, though it received a credit-rating upgrade from S&P Global to BBB due to strong cash flow and rising demand for AI-driven memory. Analysts remain divided, with some forecasting high upside targets while others have issued downgrades.

SiTime Corporation shares also experienced a gap down. While some analysts, such as those at Needham & Company LLC and UBS Group, have raised price targets, Zacks Research recently downgraded the stock from a ‘strong-buy’ to a ‘hold’ rating.

Almonty Industries Inc. shares gapped down prior to trading, despite receiving several ‘buy’ ratings and high price targets from firms including Jefferies Financial Group and DA Davidson.
