Various theatrical productions scheduled in Italy

The Teatro Stabile di Catania is advancing its U35 Drammaturgie competition, moving three winning texts into the mise en espace phase. Directed by Lorenzo Lavia and performed by young actors from the stable, the works include ‘Mitica’ by Sara Bosi, ‘Gli ultimi granelli di sabbia’ by Federico Malvaldi, and ‘Soggetti smarriti’ by Ninni Porto. These open rehearsals and staging sessions will take place at Sala Futura from late November through December 2026.

In Frassinelle Polesine, the Gruppo Panta Rei will perform ‘Il libro della giungla’ at the Teatro Casa del Popolo on October 25. Inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s classic, the production—a winner of the 2023 Otello Sarzi National Prize—utilizes actors, puppets, and live digital imagery to explore themes of identity and belonging. The event is part of the ‘Il Teatro Siete Voi – Tuttinsieme’ series promoted by ViviRovigo Aps.
