Various youth programs held in Romania

Several youth-focused initiatives took place in Romania during late October 2026.

The Archdiocese of Buzău and Vrancea organized a retreat for young volunteers from the “Vacanța din Satul Meu” project. Held from October 28 to 31 in the Moldova and Maramureș regions, the camp focused on prayer, education, and cultural discovery following the volunteers' summer service to local communities.

In Hunedoara County, seventeen students from the communes of Armeniș, Cornereva, and Teregova participated in the “Junior Rewilders 2026” camp in Mălăiești. Part of the European LIFE with Bison project, the week-long program taught biodiversity, nature conservation, and rewilding processes. Activities included visits to the Retezat National Park and workshops on mountain water biodiversity.
