The annual St. Luke exhibition, organized by the Association of Varna Artists, is scheduled to open on Sunday, October 18, at 18:00 at the Boris Georgiev City Art Gallery in Varna.

More than 50 artists from Varna will participate, showcasing works ranging from traditional painting and sculpture to contemporary art objects and installations. To support the initiative, the Varna Municipality will provide cash prizes totaling 5,600 euros. The awards include the ‘St. Luke’ prize of 1,000 euros, a jury prize of 900 euros, three equal prizes of 700 euros each, and a prize for a young creator under 35 valued at 600 euros.

The exhibition is named after Saint Luke, who is traditionally revered as the patron saint of artists and the first iconographer.
