Varna hosts City Wonder Challenge 2026 adventure competition

The “City Wonder Challenge 2026” took place in Varna, bringing together 10 teams to compete in six diverse disciplines designed to test speed, accuracy, orientation, logic, and teamwork.

The competition began near the Aladzha Monastery area with cycling, archery, and orienteering. Despite previous rainfall, participants completed the cycling route, followed by archery, which required high concentration despite increased heart rates. The orienteering stage challenged teams to find seven specific points using maps and compasses across rugged terrain.

Additional challenges included a complex logical task and a kayaking stage, where judges adjusted the route based on weather conditions to ensure safety. The event concluded with a speed climbing final at the “Chudnite Skali” sports club, where participants utilized two different routes tailored to their skill levels.
