Varna hosts tour operators from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

From September 21 to 25, a group of tour operators from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland visited Varna to explore the region's potential as a tourism destination. Organized with the assistance of the Varna Municipality, the visit aimed to promote tourism exchange with German-speaking markets.

During the program, the delegation visited the Archaeological Museum, where they were welcomed by Deputy Mayor Snezhana Apostolova. They were presented with promotional materials and a special edition titled ‘The Golden Antiquity of Varna,’ which details the history of the Varna Chalcolithic gold treasure.

The itinerary included visits to the Golden Sands and St. Constantine and Elena resort complexes, as well as meetings with local hotel industry representatives. The tour focused on showcasing Varna's diverse offerings, including cultural, maritime, spa, wellness, and year-round tourism opportunities, to establish sustainable international partnerships.
