Varna implements infrastructure repairs and new urban projects

The Varna Municipality is managing several significant developments in the Asparuhovo district. Following a landslide, an emergency task force is preparing a plan for urgent road repairs. The administration will provide geological reports to contractors to coordinate repairs with water and energy utilities. Monitoring indicates no new earth mass movements have been recorded.

In terms of urban development, the municipality is moving forward with 25 infrastructure projects for public discussion. These include road repairs, traffic management systems for the Asparuhovo Bridge, and a multi-level interchange. Other proposals include a multi-story parking facility in the Odesos district and various park and playground improvements.

Additionally, the Ministry of Culture has approved a donation-based project to construct a monument to Khan Asparuh in the Asparuhovo district. The project, supported by the Varna Municipal Council, aims to honor the founder of Danube Bulgaria through private funding rather than public budgets.
