Varna officials request increased police presence in Topoli and Kazashko

Mayors of the villages of Topoli and Kazashko have submitted formal requests to the Varna Municipal Council seeking an increased police presence. The mayors cited frequent acts of vandalism and disturbances to public order as the primary reasons for the request. Blagovest Georgiev, the mayor of Topoli, noted that Topoli is the largest and fastest-growing village within the Varna municipality.

In separate regional news, customs officials in Varna seized 1,606 liters of high-proof alcohol of unverified origin and quality during inspections conducted between October 14 and 17. Additionally, the Varna Municipality has scheduled a public discussion for October 19 regarding long-term debt projects to comply with municipal debt laws and budget forecasting regulations.
