Varna to host free mental health screenings

Specialists from the Second Psychiatric Clinic at St. Marina University Hospital and faculty from the Medical University of Varna will provide free, anonymous screenings and consultations for depression and anxiety. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, between 10:00 and 15:00 at the central entrance of the Sea Garden in Varna.

Organized in observance of World Mental Health Day on October 10, the initiative aims to increase awareness and combat the social stigma surrounding mental illness. The screenings are available to anyone over the age of 18. Participating experts include Professor Hristo Kozhuharov, President of the Bulgarian Psychiatric Association, and Associate Professor Zhivko Apostolov.
