Varna to host Urban Wine Fest 2026 at Independence Square
The Urban Wine Fest – Varna 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 16 and 17, 2026, at Independence Square in the park in front of the Varna State Opera. The event will run from 16:00 to 22:00.
Organized by the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals, the festival marks a move to an outdoor venue after three previous editions held at ReBonkers. This year's program features a special focus on the wine region of the Northern Black Sea. The event is part of a series of festivals celebrating Bulgarian wine and International Mavrud Day.
Attendees will have access to a selection of over 40 Bulgarian wines. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Varna Municipality. While entry is free, food and wine consumption must be paid for on-site. The event is intended for individuals over the age of 18.
