Varna to host XIX Black Sea Tourism Forum

The XIX Black Sea Tourism Forum will take place in Varna on October 30 and 31. Under the theme “Intelligent Tourism Destinations – Innovation and Sustainable Development,” the event aims to explore how technology, data, and artificial intelligence are transforming the tourism sector.

Organized by the Varna Tourism Chamber in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Varna, the forum will bring together representatives from tourism businesses, government institutions, and academic circles. The program includes four thematic panels focusing on the management of intelligent destinations, the use of data as a new form of capital, digital integration of services, and the management of tourist experiences through automation and generative chatbots.

International participants, including researchers from Germany and Finland, are expected to attend. Discussions will also address the development of Varna as an intelligent tourism destination through 2035.
