Varna: Two injured in knife attack following dog abuse dispute

A violent confrontation in Varna left two men injured after a man intervened to stop what he believed was the abuse of a dog. The incident occurred around 8:00 PM on a Thursday in front of a seven-year-old child.

According to witnesses, the conflict began when a man confronted another individual for allegedly hitting a dog with fists and kicks. The confrontation escalated into a physical fight, during which the aggressor produced a large kitchen knife. One man, who attempted to disarm the attacker, sustained multiple serious injuries to his abdomen, armpit, hands, and head, and remains in intensive care.

A second man was also injured while attempting to intervene and stop the fight. The attacker briefly fled the scene after discarding the knife in a waste container but was subsequently apprehended by citizens and handed over to police patrol officers.
