Varna volleyball clubs to hold tournament in memory of Stavri Dimitrov

The sixth edition of the volleyball tournament in memory of Stavri Dimitrov, one of Varna’s most successful coaches, will take place on Saturday, October 17. The event will be held at the “ Mladost” hall of the DKS in Varna.

Organized by VK “Varna DKS” with support from the Varna Municipality Sport Directorate, the competition features five local teams composed of children born in 2014 or later. Participating clubs include VK “Bultex 2013”, VK “Perun”, VK “Spartak”, VK “Veles”, and VK “Varna DKS”.

The tournament follows a specific scoring regulation where a 2:0 game victory earns three points, a 1:1 tie earns one point each, and a 0:2 loss earns zero points. In the event of a tie in total points, the ranking will be determined by the ratio of won to lost game points.
