Varun Dhawan Marks 10‑Year Anniversary of Film “Dishoom”

Indian actor Varun Dhawan celebrated the 10th anniversary of his 2016 action‑comedy film “Dishoom”. He posted a series of behind‑the‑scenes photographs on Instagram, recalling the production with director Rohit Dhawan, his brother, and co‑stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. In his caption Dhawan wrote, “Toh DISHOOM. Had the best time making a film with my brothers Rohit, @thejohnabraham @jacquelienefernandez. We shot a large portion of it in UAE. How time flies but anytime India ko bura kahaan toh dishoom can be back. 10 years.”

“Dishoom” was directed by Rohit Dhawan and follows police officers Junaid Ansari (Varun Dhawan) and Kabir Shergill (John Abraham) as they hunt for a missing Indian cricketer in the Middle East. The anniversary post also referenced Dhawan’s recent work, including the 2024 romantic comedy “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”.
