Varun Dhawan raises concerns over declining soil nutrients

Indian actor Varun Dhawan has expressed significant concern regarding the declining quality of soil and the loss of essential natural nutrients in farmland. Following the recent purchase of his own farm, Dhawan noted that local farmers informed him that modern soil lacks the abundance of nutrients previously found in the earth.

Dhawan highlighted that seeds are also becoming devoid of critical minerals such as zinc and magnesium, attributing this decline to the heavy use of chemicals. He described the situation as “very worrisome,” noting that these nutrient-depleted products are what the general population is currently consuming. The actor stated that the issue has been “giving me sleepless nights” and has used his social media platforms to seek solutions and advice from those involved in farming and produce to combat the problem.
