Varun Dhawan's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai streams on ZEE5

David Dhawan's romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur, premiered on the Hindi ZEE5 platform on 31 July 2026, eight weeks after its theatrical debut in India. The film follows Jass (Dhawan), whose life spirals into comedic chaos when both his estranged wife Bani (Thakur) and his new love Preet (Hegde) become pregnant.

Produced by Ramesh Taurani under the Tips Films banner, the movie features a supporting ensemble that includes Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Sheirgill, Chunky Panday and Mouni Roy. It earned roughly ₹74.8 crore worldwide at the box office. The release coincides with promotional remarks from ZEE5’s business head, praising the film’s light‑hearted entertainment value, and from director David Dhawan, who said the comedy is meant to let audiences “forget their worries and leave with a smile.”
