Varun Tej's film Korean Kanakaraju draws strong advance bookings

Advance ticket sales for Varun Tej's upcoming Telugu film Korean Kanakaraju have surged, with premiere shows in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh selling rapidly and US premieres already generating about US$50,000, projected to reach US$100,000. The film, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by First Frame Entertainments and UV Creations, is slated for worldwide release on 7 August.

The actor has been promoting the movie across several cities despite a recent leg injury, including a large event at a college in Bheemavaram, Andhra Pradesh, where he praised co‑star Ritika Nayak, comedian Satya, and music director Thaman S for their contributions. Tej highlighted the film's blend of comedy and horror and expressed confidence that the project will become a major hit.
