Vasas FC and Kisvárda draw 1–1 in OTP Bank Liga opener

Vasas FC and Kisvárda Master Good FC played to a 1–1 draw in the opening match of the ninth round of the OTP Bank Liga. The match, held at the Illovszky Rudolf Stadion, was played under special conditions where only spectators under the age of 14 were permitted to attend due to a previously imposed six-month ban on supporters following misconduct during a match against Kispest-Honvéd.

Vasas dominated much of the play, particularly in the first half, but failed to convert their chances. The deadlock was broken in the 61st minute when Milán Tóth scored with a header following a rebound. However, Kisvárda secured a point in the 86th minute when substitute Bence Bíró scored from a sharp angle on the right side of the penalty area.

With this result, Vasas has moved level on 15 points with league leaders Puskás Akadémia, though they remain in second place due to a lower number of victories.
