VíasChile and CONASET host road safety event in Santiago

To commemorate International Road Safety Education Day, VíasChile and the National Commission for Traffic Safety (CONASET) hosted a session of the School Road Park at the Plaza de la Constitución in Santiago, Chile.

The event brought together over 200 students from various local schools, including Escuela Uruguay, Escuela Cadete Arturo Pratt, Escuela Ecuador, and Escuela Territorio Antártico. Participants engaged with a 200 m² miniature urban environment featuring streets, crossings, and signage to practice safe pedestrian and passenger behaviors.

Since its creation in 2024, the School Road Park program has certified more than 2,000 children across the Metropolitan and Valparaíso regions. The initiative aims to teach traffic rules and preventive behaviors to children at an early age.
