Vasco da Gama shows improved form in Brasileirão and Copa Sul-Americana

Vasco da Gama is experiencing a period of significant improvement across multiple competitions under the technical direction of Pedro Emanuel. The club has successfully moved out of the relegation zone in the Brasileirão following a 5-0 victory over Coritiba, marking three consecutive wins in different tournaments including the Copa Sul-Americana.

Defensively, the team has shown notable solidity, keeping clean sheets in nearly half of their recent matches. This includes results against Independiente Medellín, Santa Fe, and Olimpia. Defender Alan Saldivia has also seen a resurgence in form and fan confidence after earlier struggles. Offensively, Andrés Gómez has become a key figure, scoring his eighth goal of the season.

During the current FIFA international break, the squad has been granted five days of rest. The club is also utilizing this time to manage player recoveries in the medical department, specifically for Cuesta, Cauan Barros, and Brenner. Vasco's upcoming schedule includes a high-stakes derby against Botafogo and matches in the Copa do Brasil, where they are competing for a potential title.

In the Copa do Brasil, the team is currently in the semifinals, where they are scheduled to face Palmeiras in November.
