Richarlison seeks exit from Tottenham amid Vasco da Gama interest
Richarlison, the Brazilian striker currently at Tottenham Hotspur, is facing an uncertain future after being excluded from the club’s Premier League squad by manager Roberto De Zerbi. The player has reportedly expressed a desire to leave London, following failed attempts to secure moves to Everton and Trabzonspor during the summer window.
Vasco da Gama is leading the pursuit to bring the 29-year-old back to Brazil. While a loan deal was initially considered, FIFA regulations regarding the number of players a club can loan to foreign federations have blocked that path, as Tottenham has already reached its limit of six. Consequently, negotiations are shifting toward a permanent transfer.
Vasco is exploring creative financial structures, such as spreading payments over several installments, to manage the deal. Tottenham has reportedly set a minimum sale price of approximately 20 million euros. Other Brazilian clubs, including Atlético Mineiro, have also shown interest in the striker.
