Vasco da Gama hosts 8th Cidadania Vascaína social event

The 8th edition of the ‘Cidadania Vascaína’ initiative took place at São Januário, serving more than 540 people. Despite poor weather conditions, the event recorded the highest number of services provided across all previous editions.

The program focused on social transformation, citizenship, and community support. A notable component of the event was the ‘Dia D’ campaign, ‘Meu Pai Tem Nome’, conducted in partnership with the Public Defender's Office.

Club officials, including Vice President of History and Social Responsibility Paulo Pires and Social Responsibility Coordinator Carla Maria, emphasized the importance of institutional commitment to social causes. The initiative involved several partners, including JuvRio, Águas do Rio, INSS, and Detran, to provide various community services.
