Vasco da Gama moves to sign Nelson Deossa and John Yeboah

Brazilian club Vasco da Gama is close to completing two high‑profile signings before the September transfer deadline. Negotiations with Spain's Real Betis have advanced, with midfielder Nelson Deossa expected to join on loan until the end of the season and an option to purchase for €12 million. The deal would end a long‑running saga and strengthen Vasco's midfield for the remainder of the campaign.

Vasco is also pursuing Ecuadorian forward John Yeboah, currently on the books of Italy's Venezia.
