Vasco da Gama pushes Deossa transfer amid SAF sale and relegation battle

Colombian midfielder Nelson Deossa scored a penalty in Real Betis' 3‑0 preseason win over Sportfreunde Lotte, a match that may have been his last for the Spanish club. Vasco da Gama has submitted transfer documents and financial guarantees to Betis, seeking a loan with an obligation to purchase the player for €10 million, potentially rising to €12 million with bonuses. The deal is being financed by businessman Marcos Lamacchia, who is also involved in the club's planned sale of its SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol).
