Vasco da Gama sets record with Círio de Nazaré shirt sales
Vasco da Gama has achieved its largest-ever licensed product launch following the release of a commemorative shirt for the Círio de Nazaré. On the first day of sales, the club sold 18,000 units, generating approximately R$ 5 million in revenue.
This performance represents a 157% increase compared to the previous 2025 partnership edition, which sold 7,000 units. It also surpasses the club's previous record of 12,000 units sold for a World Cup-themed collection. The new shirt, priced at R$ 289.99, features off-white satin fabric, ribbed sleeves, and the Cruz de Malta, incorporating references to Our Lady of Nazareth.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy by the club to expand its retail presence and diversify its product portfolio. Additionally, the partnership aims to strengthen connections with fans in Brazil's Northern region, particularly in Pará, where the Círio de Nazaré attracts millions of participants annually.
