Vasco forward Adson expected to return for upcoming match
Vasco forward Adson was left out of the squad for the recent match against Corinthians in the 32nd round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Despite his recent performance in the Copa Sul-Americana semifinals against Boca Juniors, coach Pedro Emanuel opted not to include him on the bench for the victory at São Januário.
Emanuel clarified that the decision was purely technical and not a disciplinary measure or due to physical issues, noting that Adson has been training normally. The coach described the choice as difficult, stating, “Adson is an excellent professional, but we have to make decisions.”
Adson is expected to be available for Vasco’s next match against Flamengo at the Nilton Santos Stadium this coming Thursday.
