Vasco reaches agreement with Alan Lescano amid loan approval wait

Vasco da Gama has reached an agreement with Argentinian midfielder Alan Lescano to sign the player from Argentinos Juniors. The club is currently awaiting a judicial decision regarding the release of a R$ 150 million loan to finalize the transfer and improve its cash flow.

Lescano, a 24-year-old midfielder known for his versatility in attacking and central roles, has expressed interest in the move. Argentinos Juniors recently acquired the remaining 50% of his economic rights from Gimnasia La Plata and is prepared for his departure, pending payment from Vasco.

The club expects a decision on the loan early this week, which would allow them to conclude negotiations for Lescano and potentially pursue another defender during the current transfer window.
