Vasco Rossi suffers shoulder and spinal injuries
Italian rock singer Vasco Rossi has revealed a series of physical injuries following multiple accidents. The 74-year-old artist shared updates on social media regarding significant damage to his left shoulder ligaments and recent spinal surgery.
The issues began in his hometown of Zocca, where a fall on a wet forest path caused an initial shoulder injury. While attempting to manage the pain, Rossi developed back problems that required spinal surgery at a clinic in Bologna. Following medical consultations with specialists including Professor Beppe Monetti and Professor Alessandro Gasbarrini, the singer underwent a spinal procedure.
However, a subsequent bicycle accident on a wet surface resulted in a second impact to his left elbow and shoulder, exacerbating the existing ligament damage. Rossi described the combined recovery from his back and shoulder issues as a ‘hellish duet’ but maintained an ironic tone, stating he is ‘holding on’ and focusing on physiotherapy.
