Vash Hsu releases new album ‘Love Volcano People’

Singer Vash Hsu has released his second album, ‘Love Volcano People’, marking his return after a three-year hiatus. The lead single, ‘This Kind of Person’, features lyrics written by award-winning songwriter Wu Qing-feng. The song explores the emotional pain of being someone whose presence is felt but who is never truly chosen in a relationship.

Hsu personally starred in the music video, portraying a character in a mascot costume who brings joy to others at an amusement park but ultimately experiences heartbreak. During the filming process, Hsu faced challenges with the intense heat while wearing the heavy costume. To prevent heatstroke, his company provided a wearable smart cooling device, which allowed him to complete the shoot successfully.

Hsu’s emotional performance in the video has received praise from crew members, though the singer humbly attributed his tears to his naturally sensitive personality. He is scheduled to hold the ‘Love Volcano People’ concert at Legacy Taipei on November 8.
