Vasile Mogoș signs permanent deal with SSC Bari

SSC Bari has officially completed the permanent signing of Romanian defender Vasile Mogoș. The 33-year-old versatile defender has signed a contract through June 2027, which includes an option for renewal.

Mogoș joins the Italian club following a successful period in Romania with Universitatea Craiova, where he won both the league championship and the Romanian Cup. A former member of the Romanian national team squad during EURO 2024, he has earned eight caps for his country.

The move marks a return to Italy for Mogoș, who previously played for several Italian clubs including Ascoli, Cremonese, Chievo Verona, and Crotone. His decision to join Bari was motivated by a desire to be closer to his family, who reside in Italy.
