Vasilije Adzic attracts Juventus interest after Montenegro performance

Montenegrin midfielder Vasilije Adzic has drawn significant attention following a standout performance for the Montenegro national team in a 2-1 victory over Latvia during the UEFA Nations League. The 2006-born player scored both goals for Montenegro, demonstrating clinical efficiency by converting both of his shots on target.

Adzic, who is currently on loan from Juventus to Sassuolo, has also seen a rise in form at the club level, recording four goals and one assist in six appearances across Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

In response to his development, Juventus has reportedly initiated contact with Adzic’s agents to reassure them of his importance to the club’s future projects. While Juventus previously declined permanent sale offers during the summer transfer window, the club maintains a buy-back clause. The strategic decision to loan the player to Sassuolo was intended to facilitate his maturation before reintegrating him into the Juventus squad.
