Vasilis Charalampopoulos returns to Acropole Theatre in ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’

Vasilis Charalampopoulos returns to the Acropole Theatre in a renewed production of Edmond Rostand’s ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’. The performance, which previously achieved significant success and multiple sold-out shows, is scheduled to return on November 11.

Directed by Yannis Kakleas with music by Evanthia Reboutsika, the production features a refreshed cast including Danai Pappa as Roxane, Nikos Mellos as Christian, and Lefteris Zambetakis as Count De Guiche. The ensemble is supported by 16 actors and dancers, accompanied by a live orchestra.

Set in 1640 Paris, the play follows the story of Cyrano, a brave and intelligent poet who secretly loves Roxane but remains silent due to insecurities regarding his appearance. He assists Christian in wooing Roxane by writing the romantic letters she falls in love with, leading to a long-held secret that is only revealed near the end of the story.
