Vasilis Spanoulis reacts to Aris BC victory over Burgos

Aris BC coach Vasilis Spanoulis expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following their 93-80 victory over Burgos. Spanoulis noted that the team showed strong resilience and reacted effectively after a previous loss to Karditsa, particularly during a dominant first half characterized by fast breaks and three-point shooting.

Despite the win, Spanoulis highlighted areas for improvement, specifically noting that the team lost focus in the second half while leading by 20 points. He expressed concern over allowing the opponent to secure 16 offensive rebounds and emphasized the need for better ball movement and sustained concentration.

Spanoulis also addressed the team's mindset, stating that Aris is not a stepping stone for players looking to advance their careers, but a club focused on winning. Additionally, he paid tribute to the presence of basketball legend Nikos Galis at the game.
