Vasilis Tsekouras and Georgina Malliarou to host Koinonia Ora MEGA

Journalists Vasilis Tsekouras and Georgina Malliarou will take over the presentation of the morning news program "Koinonia Ora MEGA" starting Monday, August 10. The duo will host the program for the final three weeks of the summer period until the regular hosts, Iordanis Hasapopoulos and Anthi Voulgari, return for the new television season.

In discussing the current state of Greek television, Tsekouras noted that while competition is intense, he believes it remains at healthy levels as long as programs do not become overly dependent on viewership ratings every minute of the day. He also commented on the integration of artificial intelligence in journalism, suggesting it should be utilized as a tool rather than a replacement for journalistic judgment.
