Vasilisa Lopušina awarded MIMAS Prize in Italy

Montenegrin pianist Vasilisa Lopušina, founder and artistic director of the Montenegro International Piano Festival (MIP), has been awarded the MIMAS Prize. The international recognition was presented during the MIMAS Music Festival held on the Italian island of Procida from August 18 to 21.

Lopušina received the award for her contributions to international cultural exchange and for strengthening the connection between Montenegro and Italy through musical and artistic cooperation. The prize also recognizes the establishment of a partnership between the Montenegro International Piano Festival and the MIMAS Music Festival. The award was presented by Luciano Ruotolo, the artistic director of the MIMAS Music Festival and the NOMEA organization.

The partnership between MIP and MIMAS is expected to facilitate future joint projects, the exchange of artists and educators, and new opportunities for young talents from Montenegro and other nations to perform on the international stage.
