Vaslui County GDP projected to reach 18.1 billion lei

Economic projections from the National Strategy and Prognosis Commission indicate that Vaslui County's GDP will reach 18.1 billion lei by the end of the year. Within the North-East Region, other counties show different GDP values: Iași leads with 70.2 billion lei, followed by Bacău at 45.2 billion lei, Suceava at 37.7 billion lei, Neamț at 29.8 billion lei, and Botoșani at 20.8 billion lei.

Regarding public works, the Ministry of Development reported that budget funds for the ‘Anghel Saligny’ National Investment Program have been exhausted for the current year. In Vaslui, 134 investment objectives were approved out of 178 requests, totaling approximately 1.44 billion lei, which represents about 58% of the total funding requests. Digital applications for transfers via the official platform are suspended as of September 11, 2026, pending potential budget supplements.
