Vaslui Handball Cup begins at Sala Polivalentă

The Vaslui Handball Cup is being held at the Sala Polivalentă in Vaslui, featuring both senior and junior competitions. The tournament schedule includes junior matches on August 20 and 21, followed by senior semifinals on Friday, August 21. The senior matchups feature CSM Constanța against Teutonii Ghimbav and CSM Vaslui against Steaua București. The final matches are scheduled for Saturday, August 22.

A special event will honor Professor Liviu Gugleș, an influential figure in Vaslui handball and an Honorary Citizen of the municipality. The tribute, scheduled for Friday evening, will include a demonstration match featuring former prominent Romanian handball players and athletes trained by Gugleș. Public access to all matches at the Sala Polivalentă is free of charge.
