Vaslui hosts traditional Buzdugan Fair

The traditional Buzdugan Fair has commenced in Vaslui, running from September 2 through September 8, 2026. Held at the former Hemp Factory site near the Lukoil station on the road toward Bârlad, the event is organized by the Buzdugan brothers from Huși.

The fair features various attractions from Luna Park Italia, including carousels, Ferris wheels, and a bumper car track that now allows for drifting. A new high-altitude attraction called ‘Adrenalina Tenerife’ has been introduced for adolescents. In addition to rides, the event includes food terraces serving traditional grilled meats and sweets, as well as stalls selling household goods and rural products.

Organizers have stated that despite rising inflation and increased electricity costs, prices for access to rides and bumper cars will remain consistent with last year's rates. The site includes a parking area with over 1,000 spaces.
