Laskarakis maintains a strong connection to Crete, as it is the home region of her husband, chef Lefteris Soultatos, who hails from Anogeia. The couple, who married in Crete on April 29, 2019, met years ago at a hotel where Soultatos was working. Laskarakis has previously noted that her frequent visits to the island are a meaningful way to enjoy travel, contrasting with her childhood when her family lacked the financial means for vacations.
