Vasse farm shop closes after repeated thefts

A farm shop located on the Schouwdijk in Vasse has closed its doors following a series of thefts by a single individual in late August.

According to police reports, the suspect visited the trust-based kiosk three times on Saturday, August 29. During the first two visits, the man stole eggs, a drink, and various meat products without paying. During the third visit, the suspect smashed the shop's cash box and stole approximately 220 euros in cash.

The owners stated on social media that the repeated thefts were the final straw, leading to the decision to cease operations. Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect in an attempt to identify him and are asking the public for information.
