VAST Data announces EdenLive and VAST DataEnclave AI solutions

VAST Data has introduced two significant advancements in artificial intelligence: EdenLive and VAST DataEnclave.

EdenLive is an open-source, real-time generative rendering engine designed to bridge the gap between offline video generation and interactive environments. It can process proxy inputs, reference videos, and text prompts to produce 720P visual content at frame rates exceeding 24 FPS on a single Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics card. The system separates interactive world states from visual rendering, allowing game engines to handle physics and logic while the 5B parameter model manages visual styling and textures.

VAST DataEnclave is a confidential AI feature built on NVIDIA Confidential Computing. It is designed to allow major AI models to operate within highly regulated environments, such as finance, healthcare, and government agencies, where data privacy is paramount. The technology ensures that sensitive data and proprietary model weights remain protected during processing within CPU and GPU memory, preventing infrastructure administrators from accessing the information. This allows organizations to utilize advanced AI models on their most sensitive data without moving that data to external AI services.
