Vatican Cardinals Address Social Divides and AI at Extraordinary Consistory Sessions

Themes discussed included the need for the Church to showcase a "Samaritan" face, the threat of deep societal polarization, radical individualism, and the ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence. Cardinals highlighted the suffering of the poor, minorities, and youth, warning that misinformation, anti‑Semitism and attacks on religious freedom could fuel violence and conflict. They called for a "language of the heart" to promote the common good, solidarity, and respect for human dignity.
