Vatican media signs unique editorial deal with Gruppo SAE

Vatican media outlets, including Vatican News, Radio Vaticana, and L’Osservatore Romano, have signed an editorial agreement with the Italian publishing group Gruppo SAE. This partnership marks the first time an Italian media group has entered into such an agreement with a Dicastery of the Holy See.

Under the terms of the deal, news and video content regarding Pope Leo XIV and the activities of the Catholic Church will be disseminated 24 hours a day via the websites of La Stampa and other Gruppo SAE publications. The collaboration includes the implementation of a multimedia widget designed to provide continuous updates on the Pope’s pontificate and global Church news.

Alberto Leonardis, President and CEO of Gruppo SAE, described the Church as a “fundamental ethical reference point in this historical moment” and noted the relevance of Catholic social doctrine. Andrea Tornielli, editorial director of Vatican media, stated that the tool aims to maximize the reach of the Pope’s message through multimedia formats.
