Vatican releases document on 60 years of interreligious dialogue

The Vatican has released a new document titled ‘Journey of Hope: 60 Years of Interreligious Dialogue and Brotherhood in the Light of the Nostra aetate Declaration’. Published on the 61st anniversary of the declaration, the text examines the history of dialogue between different faiths.

In Poland, commentators Paweł Lisicki and Grzegorz Górny have critiqued the document, suggesting it lacks clarity regarding the distinction between biblical Judaism and post-biblical Talmudic Judaism. They argue that the document’s approach to combating antisemitism remains ambiguous by failing to define specific theological distinctions.

Separately, in the Ełk Diocese, teachers and catechists held a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Studzieniczna. The event focused on spiritual formation and the responsibility of educators to remain faithful to the Gospel while engaging with the needs of others. The gathering included conferences on Christian responsibility and communal prayer.
