Vaudoise Assurances is responding to significant hail damage caused by storms on August 28 in the Swiss regions of Aarau, Olten, Solothurn, and Zurich. The company expects over 2,000 vehicle damage claims, with estimated costs reaching CHF 10 million. To assist affected clients, the insurer is deploying mobile expertise units to provide rapid on-site assessments.
Separately, the company has received high marks in 2026 customer satisfaction surveys. According to Comparis, Vaudoise earned a 'Gold' seal for its auto insurance with a score of 5.2 and a 'Silver' seal for private liability insurance with a score of 5.1. Additionally, surveys from bonus.ch ranked the company second in both motor vehicle and private liability insurance categories, based on criteria such as claim processing speed and service quality.
