Vaughan Community Health Lecture to explore digital health transformation

The third annual Vaughan Community Health Lecture, titled ‘Digital Health: How Technology Is Transforming Health Care’, is scheduled for September 24 at Vaughan City Hall. Hosted by York University in collaboration with the City of Vaughan and Mackenzie Health, the event will explore the role of digital tools in supporting community health needs.

Topics include virtual care, artificial intelligence, and remote monitoring. The lecture will showcase innovation research ranging from wearable monitors to AI-powered social robots designed to assist older adults with independent living. The event will feature interactive exhibits, a digital health innovation zone, and a panel discussion with healthcare experts.
