VAULTBREAKERS launches public alpha test with PvPvE mode

BetaDwarf and Square Enix have launched a public alpha test for the action RPG VAULTBREAKERS. Available on PC via Steam, the test runs until October 21.

This new phase expands significantly on the previous demo. It introduces a PvPvE mode where players must navigate environments, fight AI-controlled enemies and bosses, and compete against other players to recover relics and escape with loot. The alpha provides access to all five playable characters, two maps—Wolfswood and Scraplands—and all difficulty levels, including a tutorial and advanced content.

Players who participated in the earlier demo can transfer their progress to this alpha test. VAULTBREAKERS features extraction mechanics and can be played solo or cooperatively. A confirmed release date for the full game has not yet been announced.
