Vaundy launches first Asian arena tour with sold-out dates
Japanese artist Vaundy has launched his first Asian arena tour, titled “HORO,” which began with a two-night run at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The tour, which translates to “wandering,” includes scheduled stops in Seoul, Hong Kong, Fukuoka, and Taipei. All tour dates reportedly sold out immediately upon ticket release.
In Seoul, the two-night engagement at the INSPIRE Arena is scheduled for September 19 and 20. Ahead of the Seoul performances, fans have been utilizing digital tools and Spotify playlists to prepare for the live acoustic experience. Due to potential cellular network congestion at large-scale venues, some attendees are using technical methods to pre-cache tracklists for offline use.
Vaundy, who debuted in 2019, recently became the youngest male solo artist to tour Japan’s four major domes. His discography includes several hits with over 100 million streams, including themes for “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Earth Symphony” and the anime “Ranking of Kings.”
